| FUNCTION: We provide supplies, equipment, and materiel product support to authorized customers through the systems and processes of the USAF Standard Base Supply System (SBSS). In performing the basic functions of a base supply activity, we determine requirements, requisition, inventory, receive, store distribute and issue, inspect, account for, research and maintain records, provide customer service, conduct training and make shipments. In addition, we provide the required administration and management, quality control and off-line support capability. Our on site staff also serves as the installation fuels management staff supporting both local unit and transient aircraft. Our staff provides fuels receipt, quality control and analysis as well as distribution of aviation and motor vehicle fuel for authorized customers on the installation. |
