McChord Field is the home of the 62d Airlift Wing.  This Wing is made up of more than 2,300 Active Duty and Civilian personnel and is tasked with operating the C-17 Globemaster III aircraft in support of worldwide airlift requirements for both combat and humanitarian efforts.  The Wing is also the provider of Prime Nuclear Airlift Forces and is the only DoD Wing tasked to airlift nuclear and nuclear-related material. 

DMS provides personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary  to operate the Postal Service Center.  Temporary Duty (TDY) personnel, personnel who have General Delivery addresses while awaiting a permanent mailing address, and active duty and retired military personnel residing at Holiday Park who are eligible for General Delivery service.  This service is vital for the morale and welfare of those who live and work at JBLM-McChord Field.
